At Valley Road we believe that pupils should have a voice in the life of the school.

The School Council provides an opportunity for children to share ideas, raise issues and contribute to decisions that help improve our school community.

Each class elects representatives, from Year 2-6, who meet regularly to discuss suggestions from their classmates and work together on initiatives that benefit the school.

Through the School Council, pupils develop confidence, communication skills and an understanding of how their ideas can make a positive difference.
