Nutritious and balanced meals are available each day for pupils at Valley Road.

Children may either bring a packed lunch from home or enjoy a hot cooked meal provided by the school.

School meals are free for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 as part of the Government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.

Meals are ordered using the Scopay app, making it easy for parents to select and pay for meals.

Our school meals aim to encourage healthy eating and provide children with a balanced diet. Meals typically include:

• a choice of main meal options

• vegetables or salad served daily

• fresh fruit available each day

• a menu that changes regularly to provide variety

We encourage children to develop healthy eating habits and to try a range of foods in a relaxed and friendly lunchtime environment.
